It is hard to believe that the violence that happened at the Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal happened 34 years ago, 14 Women were murdered on this day in Montreal because they were Women. It was a horrific event that we will never forget.

The National Constitution allows dues waivers when the member is off work and the requested dues waiver is approved as per the National Constitution. In order to be eligible, you must be a member in good standing. Membership is a condition of employment (4.07 of the Collective Agreement). For RAND members, please note that upon becoming a member, the union dues waiver is not retroactive.

Management has made the Toronto Local aware of its intention to move Kestrel, due to lease expiry of the existing building, to Gateway East. Canada Post’s intent is Kestrel PO4’s will be assigned into the Parcel section with PO5’s going to Dock east.
