At the Toronto Local of the CANADIAN UNION OF POSTAL WORKERS (CUPW) our aim is to unite all workers of Canada's Postal System, communications and related services and all workers in general.

Sisters, Brothers and Siblings:
It is hard to believe that the violence that happened at the Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal happened 36 years ago, 14 Women were murdered on this day in Montreal because they were Women. It was a horrific event that we will never forget.
This date is also a time for us to reaffirm our commitment to fight against hatred and misogyny that led to this terrible tragedy.
On this day and every day we must support our Women and learn from our past, listening to survivors and speaking out against harmful behaviour.
Our Union is committed to Women’s issues and have created committee’s and harassment Policies in our National Constitution and Local Bylaws. We take this seriously and read the policy before the start of every meeting.
In Solidarity,
Mark Lubinski,
President,
CUPW Toronto Local.
