The Toronto Local will be at the Gateway Facility Tent area to hear any concerns about the downsizing of Gateway Post Office and the opening of the new plant OEPC.
Toronto Local met with the employer on 24th September, 2021. The minutes of the consultation are received by the Local on 4th October, 2021.

Toronto Local will be honoring September 30th,2021 as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It is a day of reflection concerning the historic injustice to the indigenous peoples right across the country.

We are in the midst of federal election. Toronto Local is encouraging our members to participate in casting their ballot for the candidate who understands our struggle.

As the final bulletin on the extension of the collective agreement, we remind the membership of how important it is to participate and vote. We have made it perfectly clear that the Toronto Local Executive Recommends a NO vote.

Below are the zoom links and the call in numbers for the upcoming votes on the extension of the collective agreement.The meetings will be held virtually on August 25, August 27th and August 28th 2021. The times of the meetings are shown below. Attendance is mandatory in order to be able to vote in accordance with the National Constitution. Those that have pre-registered to vote through the telephone voting system will be able to call in and cast their vote. You will need an eight-digit pin in order to vote on the Intelivote voting system. The pin will be provided from the national Union to those who pre-registered to vote. The pin will arrive via email and or mail prior to the meeting.
