Toronto Local will be observing National Day of Mourning on April 28th, 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and loss of life of our co workers and all the workers who lost their lives.

The Toronto Local is accepting nominations and acceptance for the C.L.C. Convention. As mentioned above, this meeting will be held virtually from Wednesday, June 16 to Friday, June 18, 2021. Toronto Local is eligible to fifteen (13) delegates.

The Inaugural Shop Steward meeting is scheduled for Saturday, April 10th, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. most of the stewards lists should be posted, but if you are not sure if you are a Steward please check with your Chief Shop steward. This is a short meeting and will not be paid leave; however, the Local is scheduling a one full day training.

Effective April 1st, 2021, the Toronto Local will be implementing the decision from the charges that were heard by the Disciplinary Committee. These charges were imposed for not following the CUPW National Strike Protocol including the Overtime Ban.
