This is just to advise that you have a right to have a shop steward present when you are bidding for your position at the Gateway East Plant.
Right to Representation for Bidding Regardless of the Dictatorship
Ask for a shop steward to be with you, management is conducting the bids after dictating the rules and we have no doubt that there will be many mistakes. It is just the way it is.
We will update the membership on any changes that could occur in the near future, for now the Local does not agree with any part of the changing of your hours or the bid and will not participate as far as placement.
