Sisters and Brothers,
I would like to congratulate all the nominees who are willing to become shop stewards and defend our members at work.
Sisters and Brothers,
I would like to congratulate all the nominees who are willing to become shop stewards and defend our members at work.
CUPW Toronto Local is constantly reaching out to the all different agencies for directive and to protect our members. The Local is in the forefront along with our membership to fight against this pandemic.
As your President, I have made the ruling that due to the COVID-19 Provincial health regulations and to stop the spread of the COVID 19 virus there will be no election for the upcoming shop steward term.
The shop steward nominations received by the Local will become the shop stewards as of April 1st 2021 until next term. There will be upcoming shop steward training to give you the tools and the knowledge to uphold the collective agreement and protect our members against the boss's attack.
Knowledge is power.
In Solidarity,
Qaiser Maroof
