The Toronto Local will be providing a closed captioning accommodation for general membership meetings on a per request basis. Members requiring closed captioning are asked to notify the local of the need when registering for the general membership meeting. Both the accommodation request and the registration for the general membership meeting can be done using the same email address of [email protected]. It is further recommended that requests for closed captioning be made well in advance of the membership meeting in order for the appropriate arrangements to be made. Thank you.

On March 1st to the 2nd our National negotiators discussed our ongoing bargaining dispute with Canada Post and worked towards new collective agreements. During these negotiations, we proposed enhancements to weekend parcel deliveries while advocating for protecting full-time jobs. However, Canada Post has maintained a position that includes rollbacks, which would undermine our collective agreement and threaten the stability of full-time employment.
