Big Bargaining Breakthrough! Flyer Ban Lifted!

Sisters and Brothers,

Flyer Delivery Resumes

The flyer delivery ban at The Ray and the EDC has ended. Regular delivery is now back in place.

Thank You to Ray and EDC Letter Carriers and LCA's

Your strong and positive participation in the flyer ban showed real unity. We know this week’s workload may be heavier because of last week’s action. Your solidarity helped us move negotiations forward, and the Local is grateful for your efforts.

Agreements in Principle Reached

The Union and Canada Post have reached agreements in principle for both bargaining units. These set out the main points of new agreements. Drafting the final wording for tentative agreements is now underway.

What This Means for You

  • Current collective agreements remain in full effect.
  • Strike action is paused.
  • The Union keeps the right to strike until members ratify new agreements.
  • If we cannot agree on the exact contract wording, the pause ends and strike action may resume.

More Information Coming Soon

Once tentative agreements are fully drafted, the Union will share details on proposed changes for both bargaining units before any vote. Each member will have a vote to Accept or Reject the Tentative Collective Agreement.

Standing Strong

This round of bargaining has been long and difficult, but your unity continues to make the difference. Thank you for your commitment and strength.

In Solidarity & In Strength
