Attention: CUPW Members, Postal Workers
In light of the recent challenges our Executive (Chief) Shop Stewards face, we must stand united. The Corporation's attempt to interfere with our elected representatives will not be tolerated.
In light of the recent challenges our Executive (Chief) Shop Stewards face, we must stand united. The Corporation's attempt to interfere with our elected representatives will not be tolerated.
Our Executive Shop Stewards dedicate themselves to serving all members across shifts and facilities, and we cannot allow the Corporation to undermine them. We must assert our right to choose our representatives without interference.
Now is the time to take a firm stand. If you encounter obstacles in accessing your Executive Shop Steward, utilize Article 9 to file a grievance and safeguard our hard-earned rights. Our collective strength is formidable, and we must tell the Corporation that we will not accept this behaviour.
Let us demonstrate unwavering support for our Executive Shop Stewards and deliver a resounding message to the Corporation. We can uphold our union's values and affirm, "An Injury to One is an injury to all."
It is time to unite and confront this assault on our Union and the Toronto Local Leadership.
In solidarity
Mark Lubinski,
President,
CUPW Toronto Local.

Sisters, Brothers and Siblings,
As we approach Thanksgiving a time to celebrate the harvest and express gratitude for the year gone by, the Toronto Local wants to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all members for being the unsung heroes of Canada’s Postal System.
Sisters, Brothers, Cousins:
First of all the Local would like to thank you for all your hard work, especially during the Covid period where you worked tirelessly to ensure that Canadians who were at home received their essential items every day. You are the Corporations greatest assets! Too bad they don’t realize that.
Sisters, Brothers and Siblings,
Both our collective agreements, Urban and R.S.M.C.’s have expired. In preparations for negotiations we collected demands from the membership, prioritized them, collected data and prepared presentations. Now we are in the process of negotiating a new contract.
