Happy Thanks Giving

Sisters, Brothers and Siblings,

As we approach Thanksgiving a time to celebrate the harvest and express gratitude for the year gone by, the Toronto Local wants to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all members for being the unsung heroes of Canada’s Postal System.

The resilience and strength in the face of challenges have been truly inspiring to our National Negotiators.  Our support and trust have encouraged us to continue moving forward.

Your unwavering spirts and actions have made every challenge feel conquerable.  The Toronto Local is deeply thankful for our strong sense of unity.  The motto of our C.U.P.W. “An Injury to One is an Injury to All” was truly reflected in the large turnout at our Strike Mandate vote.

As we spend this Thanksgiving holiday with loved ones, take a moment to reflect on gratitude and unity.

Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving!

April 28 Day of Mourning

Dear Postal Workers,

On April 28th, we observe the National Day of Mourning to honour those who have lost their lives or suffered in the workplace. This day also serves as a call to action for stricter safety standards. Let’s stand in solidarity with our fellow Postal Workers, advocating for the vital changes our workplaces need and resisting intimidation from management.
