Dear Sisters, Brothers & Cousins
Management has made the Toronto Local aware of its intention to move Kestrel, due to lease expiry of the existing building, to Gateway East. Canada Post’s intent is Kestrel PO4’s will be assigned into the Parcel section with PO5’s going to Dock east.
The Toronto local’s position is that this unilateral decision to move our people and work into a facility which will dangerously over crowd it is unacceptable! Keep in mind this hasn’t taken place as of yet. The Toronto Local is insisting on consultation! ALSO The Toronto Local will be visiting you in the following weeks to hear your concerns to be better able to represent you at the time of consultation.
The Toronto Local will ensure that management adheres to all articles of the collective agreement.
