CPC management has been moving workers from WPDH to Gateway proper. They claim that the Union was made aware. THIS IS A LIE The Union has NOT received any written notice or proposals including the Team Leader Talk Track which was distributed to our members without our knowledge or consent! At no time has the Union agreed to this movement between WPDH Post Office and Gateway Post Office.
You should be aware that all levels of the Union are currently involved to deal with this situation.
If you are moved exercise your rights under the Collective Agreement. Ask to see a Union Representative to file a grievance.
It is an outrageous situation caused by managements MISMANAGEMENT. Hence the possible reason for the first dozens of Managers receiving their walking papers. How many more to come….. Keep in mind that this is most likely a show to look good at the contract hearings in front of Mr. Kaplan. But we all know that CPC is top heavy with all high paying jobs in Management who have nothing to do with the operations of mail.
The Union will immediately notify the members of any progress made.
