Sisters and Brothers:

Under the current collective agreement specifically Appendix MM which deals with seniority issues, an agreement was made to correct seniority issues due to the new rules adopted by the membership at the last convention.

As a result, new seniority rules were negotiated between the parties to resolve seniority issues. The steering committee working on seniority has completed their mandate under Appendix MM.

Any seniority dispute in the future must be grieved to be resolved. Please contact your shop steward and file a grievance as soon as you are aware there is a problem.

The Local apologizes and withdraws the previous bulletin telling the members to contact the Region to address future seniority issues. Sorry for any inconvenience. If you are unclear, please contact your chief stewards.
